DESCRIPTION

Are you an aspiring jeweler or ready to expand your skills in metalsmithing? Come to the new well-equipped Northwind Art Jewelry studio to learn new skills or get help with a special project with experienced jeweler, April Ottey. This workshop is for you if you have basic jewelry skills or have taken a jewelry class at Northwind Art and are ready to continue to acquire new skills and further develop those skills you are working on.

Are you wanting to hone your soldering skills or learn the many ways to use the flex shaft to enhance your work? Tool and technique demos will be given throughout the workshop according to each student's project. Work at your own pace with the materials and techniques that you are interested in. This opportunity is great for anyone who wants a well-equipped space and an experienced jeweler/teacher to help you as you play and experiment! Leave with new skills to create pieces that you love.

This course will be offered twice a month during the winter. Sign up for one or sign up for them all.

SUPPLY INFORMATION
The material fee covers the cost of running the jewelry studio, consumables such as flex shaft discs and saw blades. Students will bring their own materials to create jewelry from for this workshop.
