Exhibit Proposals

Thank you for your interest in exhibiting with Northwind Art! 

The Jeanette Best Exhibit Program features exceptional local and regional artists in Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water Street in downtown Port Townsend.

The proposal process is now open for 2024. To submit an exhibit proposal for consideration, please complete the form below. On a monthly, ongoing basis, proposals will be reviewed and artists notified of their status.

SELECTION

Exhibit proposals will be accepted by a panel of Northwind curators. The selection committee will look for regionally excellent artists, strong exhibit themes, and a cohesive body of work to be presented. Our final exhibit selections will reflect a variety of media, techniques, and styles.

HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL

Proposals are submitted through the Northwind Art website with the form below. 

If your proposal is selected, we will provide you with additional information about themed shows and events during the year; framing and wiring expectations; pricing; delivery of artwork; number of pieces for inventory; photos of your work, etc. Our contract provides for a standard gallery 50/50 commission split. Artists may be asked to give an artist talk to our volunteers and visitors. All work in the exhibit must be available for sale.
