January 30 - March 31
Painter, printmaker and ocean kayaker Shawna Marie Franklin of Orcas Island brought us 24 works — each with the power to transport viewers into a world of marine life. Shawna's art represents a personal pursuit of bearing witness and practicing empathy toward the non-human world.

A Closer Look
the art of Elissa Greisz and Maxwell Yakush

This exhibit pairs two Port Townsend makers: mixed-media artist Elissa Greisz and Maxwell Yakush, who sculpts in metal and stone, including specimens gathered locally.
Maxwell, who grew up in Port Townsend, has returned to his home town after many years in Washington, D.C. Elissa, who lived in California's Topanga Canyon before moving to the Pacific Northwest, borrows from sources including Byzantine art, her own Mexican heritage, sci-fi illustrations, jewelry and even tattoos.
