Scholarships for Youth and Adults

Scholarships for 2024 will begin being awarded in April.

At our core, Northwind Art believes that art promotes the well-being of individuals, community and the world. We are grateful to our donor community for supporting scholarship opportunities for both youth and adult artists.

If your financial means prevent you from taking our art classes, please consider applying for a scholarship. Qualifying individuals may receive a scholarship for free or reduced tuition.

FOR YOUTH
K-12 STUDENTS who participate in a free public school lunch program are eligible for a scholarship to Northwind Art, but all scholarship requests are considered and families are encouraged to apply.

FOR ADULTS
Any adult feeling the impact of the current economic situation is encouraged to apply for a scholarship. Adult scholarships are awarded first to those individuals eligible for Washington State Department of Social and Health Services assistance programs (e.g, Basic Food, Apple Care), but consideration is given to all who apply.

There are no other requirements for either youth or adult scholarship recipients. Scholarships are awarded throughout the year so applications are welcome any time.
