DESCRIPTION
Relax and unleash your creativity in our Zentangle® art class! This enjoyable workshop invites you to explore the meditative practice of drawing structured patterns, known as tangles, on small pieces of paper called tiles.

Using simple techniques—like straight lines, S curves, C shapes, dots, and circles—you’ll learn a variety of tangle patterns that will inspire your own original artwork. As you embark on this artistic journey, you’ll discover a sense of relaxation and focus, allowing your creativity to flourish.

Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this class is a wonderful way to unwind, express yourself, and create beautiful pieces of Zentangle® art. Join us for a fun, easy, and fulfilling experience!

    ABOUT JANE
Jane believes every person has the ability to be creative and only needs a supportive environment in which to thrive.  She is excited about this opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with others.

Throughout her life, creativity has been a valued trait that Jane holds dear.  Whether it be creating a successful healthcare business, creating and teaching graduate courses, or creating art in a variety of media, the process of building something from an idea into a reality has always been deeply satisfying to her.

After retirement from her career in healthcare, Jane became more involved in the creation of art through participating in a variety of art classes including jewelry making, watercolor, collage, drawing and Zentangle.  She was a juried member of the Old Market Artist Gallery in Omaha, Nebraska and traveled the country for 10 years participating in juried art fairs. She has made her home in Port Townsend since 2013 and is continually appreciative of our supportive arts community.
