DESCRIPTION
Our full day Pinsta workshop filled up quickly! We are thrilled to be able to offer this two-hour introduction to the Pinsta pinhole camera (a lens-free camera and darkroom in one) workshop with Martin Vanners, world-renowned Dutch pinhole photographer and social media manager and content creator for Pinsta. Martin will co-teach this course with Jen Cohen from the Raw Art Collective.

Students will be able to experience the magic of using the Pinsta camera and take home a couple of photos each. Bring your curiosity and come prepared for a fun-packed two hours. No photography experience necessary.

SUPPLY INFORMATION
All required supplies are provided with the materials fee, including photographic paper/film, developer and fixer, syringes, Pinsta cameras, and black bags for use during the class.

Students can bring their own tripod and download a light meter app on their cell phone if they wish, but these are optional and not required.

ABOUT MARTIN
Martin Vanners has a rich creative history (15 years of digital photography, followed by 5 years of 3D and animation). He discovered analog pinhole photography recently and found his soul mission in teaching his sought-after workshop "The Art of Being," where mindfulness meets pinhole photography. Focus Magazine, one of the oldest photo magazines in the world, recently did a full-length feature on Martin and his pinhole photography work. Martin has been an invited speaker at the prestigious Amsterdam Photo academy, and exhibits his work globally.

ABOUT JEN
Jen Cohen, a Port Townsend artist, is the founder of Raw Art Collective. The Pinsta camera has been a creative spark in Jen's work exploring themes of wonder, connection, and universal love. Her work has been published, shown in galleries in the United States, and is in private collections around the world. She curates Pinsta photographs for a virtual gallery @Pinstafanatics, teaches local workshops, and seeks every opportunity to share her passion for pinhole photography.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will receive a 100% refund (including any materials fee).

Students who withdraw from a course at least seven days prior to its first meeting will receive a 90% refund (less any materials fee).

Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund except in the case of illness or injury, in which case they are eligible to receive a 40% refund (less any materials fee).

Please note that 10% of every course’s registration fee is considered to be a non-refundable deposit in cases of withdrawal to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted. Please contact registrar@northwindart.org for more information.
