DESCRIPTION
Discover the art of sign painting in this two-day immersive workshop with Heidi Tullmann. Designed for all skill levels, this hands-on class will guide you through the fundamentals of sign design and execution, helping you create a unique, personalized sign to take home by the end of the course. Over two full days, you'll delve into key aspects of the craft, including letter anatomy, layout principles, and brushwork techniques. The workshop will emphasize the importance of precision, creativity, and the proper handling of brushes, with plenty of in-person practice to refine your skills.
While previous experience with brush lettering is helpful, it is not required. As sign painting is a practice-based skill, this course offers something valuable for beginners and seasoned artists alike. You'll learn through direct application, getting the chance to experiment with different brushes and styles, while Heidi provides guidance and feedback to help you develop your own unique sign. This workshop is not just about creating a sign—it's about immersing yourself in a traditional craft and honing a skill that can be used for years to come.
