DESCRIPTION
Explore your personal voice with the mark as an expression of your hand, plus learn to see negative space as a solid entity. This workshop builds on the iterative approach Meg Kaczyk teaches in her Make It Abstract and PNW Abstract workshops, providing an understanding of the use of mark making and negative space in your works. You’ll discover additive and subtractive processes with a lively variety of prompts, tools, and materials to grow your own approach to making abstract art. Taking a previous abstract class with Meg is useful but not required.
SUPPLY INFORMATION
All course materials and supplies are provided with the non-refundable materials fee. Students may also bring their favorite mediums to use in addition to the provided materials, if desired.
