DESCRIPTION
Create a bold and wearable statement piece in this two-day intermediate workshop with Carin Jones. Saddle rings are not only striking but also designed for comfortable everyday wear. In this class, you’ll choose from a variety of saddle ring designs and learn essential techniques to craft a perfectly custom-fit piece.

You’ll start by properly measuring for ring band length and constructing a step bezel that seamlessly tapers to the band. Then, you’ll enhance your design by adding pod granulation and organic castings to the sides of your stone, further refining your soldering skills. By the end of the workshop, you’ll finish and set your stone, leaving with a beautifully crafted, custom saddle ring.

This class is designed for intermediate-level students with experience in soldering, sawing, and filing. Join us for two days of creative exploration and precision craftsmanship!

SUPPLY INFORMATION
All required materials and supplies will be provided with the non-refundable materials fee. There will be the option of purchasing additional casting material directly from the artist.
