DESCRIPTION
Looking for new places to draw inspiration? Join teaching artist Leila Block for an evening of taking inspiration from angels (in any way you want to interpret that) and how they influence, energize, and heal. Whether you find inspiration from theistic religious tradition or from an unknown source that you feel guides your intuition, this class will help you tap into how you can incorporate that inspiration into your art making.

Play with your instinctive capabilities in response to guided exercises: studying the guidance, messages, symbology, and personal meaning of angels or spiritual beings will strengthen and ground your practice and can be applied when you are working at home! Any and all mediums are welcome. The school is equipped with paper, an assortment of paint, and pens/pencils. Bring your own materials if you want to work in a medium other than this.

SUPPLY INFORMATION
Bring any art supplies you like to work with. Northwind Art School is equipped with most common supplies for you to use including brushes, water containers, paper towels, pencils, palettes, scrap paper etc.

ABOUT LEILA
Leila Block is a versatile mixed media artist exploring a wide range of mediums and sounds. Her works in ceramics and mixed media are in private collections across the United States and Europe.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will receive a 100% refund (including any materials fee).

Students who withdraw from a course at least seven days prior to its first meeting will receive a 90% refund (less any materials fee).

Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund except in the case of illness or injury, in which case they are eligible to receive a 40% refund (less any materials fee).

Please note that 10% of every course’s registration fee is considered to be a non-refundable deposit in cases of withdrawal to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted. Please contact registrar@northwindart.org for more information.
