LACY MUHICH of Seattle explores the balance between chaos and calm in painted wood,
geometric forms and layered colors. After earning her fine art degree at Ohio’s Columbus
College of Art and Design and spending more than 15 years in graphic design for major world brands, Lacy has returned to her own art practice. It is a tactile one: the grounding act of building beauty by hand. She seeks to translate emotion into structure, reflecting the tension and harmony within us all.
In her work, Lacy also wants to capture the sense that there is more
to life than what we see on the surface. Each piece carries her belief
that art connects us—to nature, to one another, and to the quiet,
transformative energy that lives within.
