MYRON GAUGER is a Port Townsend photographer with a multifaceted background. Born in Mobile, Alabama, he attended Auburn University and the University of Georgia, earning a bachelor of science in zoology with a minor in art.
Myron has worked for construction companies, as a self-employed carpenter and cabinet maker, and as a carver of wood and stone sculptures. All along, he was interested in photography — and in 2015, he established Artshots.biz, his studio specializing in photography of artwork for artists, craftsmen, galleries, collectors and museums.
Myron’s illustrated booklets about the Cascade and Olympic mountains, called “Viewfinders,” are available at the Northwest Maritime Welcome Center in Port Townsend.
