Trees, rocks and beach scenes become metaphors for resilience, solitude or change.

“Without the distraction of color, light and shadow guide the viewer’s attention, highlighting textures and shapes that can spark emotion,” Jon writes.

“A windswept tree may speak of endurance, a weathered building of memory and time. Like a poem, I want to give viewers space to find their own meaning within the frame.”
