DIANE KAPPA is a Seattle-based artist who
combines linoleum block printing, cyanotype,
hand stitching and collage to create art that
reflects her love of texture, pattern and storytelling.
With more than two decades of experience in the
home décor and fashion industry, Diane brings a designer’s eye to her fine art practice. She is drawn to vintage ephemera and worn textiles — ordinary objects shaped by time.
Diane recently completed artist residencies at Château Orquevaux in France and the Ou Gallery in Duncan, B.C., and has shown her work in juried and invitational exhibitions throughout the Pacific Northwest.
She also teaches art workshops, encouraging others to find their own creative spark through the joy of making.
