Artist's Rumination: “A trip like this makes you feel alive, and you feel you are part of the environment.  You become part of the natural world, rather than seeing it as a back drop. Your skin gets tougher, rougher, dirtier, oilier. Your hair gets the same. Your muscles tighten up. You get regular in your body.  You go to sleep when it gets dark, you wake with the sunrise.  You eat and you stop when you are full.  Your body is physically tired but that feeling is taken care of with each long nights sleep.  
    (Do you think you’d ever marry me?)  A lovely, languid, slow and meandering day around the cape.  The beach we landed on is white sand, shells, and choked with beach logs.  I’m happy and content, and feel so loved.  I cannot imagine my life without him.  I would have married him the first day I met him.”
