DESCRIPTION
Step into the colorful world of mosaics with Glass Mosaic Medley: Garden & Glam! This four-week course invites you to unleash your creativity and craft three unique projects perfect for personal enjoyment or gifting. Guided by Barbara Henderson, you’ll start the journey by preparing and designing a stunning gazing ball while practicing your technique on a beautiful garden stone.

Over the next two weeks, you’ll bring your gazing ball to life with intricate mosaic details that showcase your personal style and flair. In the final week, you’ll learn the art of grouting to give your garden stone and gazing ball a polished finish. To complete the experience, you’ll create a dazzling mosaic pendant—a wearable keepsake or a thoughtful gift.

This class is designed for everyone, from beginners to those looking to refine their skills. All supplies are included; students need only bring eye protection and a lunch. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a garden stone, gazing ball, and pendant that beautifully reflect your creativity and craftsmanship. Join us for an inspiring adventure that blends art, relaxation, and a touch of glamour!

ABOUT BARBARA
Barbara Henderson is a passionate mosaicist dedicated to helping others discover their creativity through the art of mosaics. Having embraced art later in life after a career in the corporate world, she now loves guiding students as they uncover their unique artistic vision. Barbara's favorite motto is, "Perfection can be purchased at the dollar store. Art and beauty are found in the unique and flawed." She lives in Gig Harbor with her husband, along with an ever-growing collection of dogs and chickens.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will receive a 100% refund (including any materials fee).

Students who withdraw from a course at least seven days prior to its first meeting will receive a 90% refund (less any materials fee). 

Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund except in the case of illness or injury, in which case they are eligible to receive a 40% refund (less any materials fee).

Please note that 10% of every course’s registration fee is considered to be a non-refundable deposit in cases of withdrawal to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted.
