For Sally Jablonsky of Spokane, making art is a way to access joy and freedom of mind. She explores the experience of being a body and an animal on the Earth — with no separation between humans and the rest of the natural world.
Sally's art — paintings, sculptures, self-published zines — is strongly influenced by growing up in wild places, and by living with chronic illness. She also explores the epigenetic inheritance of being Jewish.
In Sally's World, we are invited to witness a journey through the kingdom of the sick, and to see how we are a part of nature.
