DESCRIPTION
This six-week class is ideal for anyone who wants to build on their observational drawing skills, as well as those who took part in Northwind Art's Beginning Drawing class this past fall. With teaching artist Anne Pfeiffer as your guide, you'll get to explore drawing botanicals, gestural figures, reflective and glass objects, and abstract compositions. We'll practice a variety of techniques: drawing subjects from photos, creating depth with value tones, drawing large and expressively!

ABOUT ANNE
Anne Pfeiffer has a graduate degree in painting and decades of experience as a high school art teacher, community college art instructor, and adult and teen workshop instructor. She lives in Port Angeles and paints landscapes and still lifes, often en plein air, and participates in regional and national exhibitions and events.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will be notified and receive a 100% refund.
Students withdrawing from a course at least seven days prior to the first day of class will receive a 90% refund.
Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund—except for illness or injury, in which case students are eligible to receive a 40% refund.
Please note that 10% of every course’s registration fee is considered a non-refundable deposit to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted.
