DESCRIPTION
Celebrate the beauty of winter with this fun, hands-on workshop creating evergreen wreaths with artist Laurie McKenzie. Using a natural form that doesn't require wiring or taping, you'll be able to easily make a truly stunning wreath to decorate your home or to gift to a friend.

Revel in the natural beauty of a multitude of evergreens, bright berries, and dried flowers — you will be amazed at what you can create! No experience is necessary, all ages and abilities are welcome, and all materials are provided.

ABOUT LAURIE
Laurie McKenzie loves growing flowers, spreading joy, and sharing her experiences and knowledge with others through her workshops. She grows fantastical flowers and ornamental greens at her home micro-farm in Chimacum, and goes foraging in the woods and lands that surround her to combine the cultivated with the wild. With more than two decades of organic farming and seed production experience, she is committed to sustainable, generative growing practices that enrich and enliven the spaces around us. Her foray into floral design work has been a building force within her for the past decade. Three years ago she took the leap and started her own business offering seasonally grown flowers and greens, sustainable floral design work, and wedding planning and coordination. She looks forward to creating and sharing joy with participants at Northwind!

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will receive a 100% refund (including any materials fee).

Students who withdraw from a course at least seven days prior to its first meeting will receive a 90% refund (less any materials fee). 

Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund except in the case of illness or injury, in which case they are eligible to receive a 40% refund (less any materials fee).

Please note that 10% of every course registration fee is considered to be a non-refundable deposit in cases of withdrawal to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted.
