DESCRIPTION
In this fun half-day class, you'll create a custom mosaic stepping stone of your choice, from a variety of shapes offered: round, heart, circlular, octagonal. Perfect for gardens and any outdoor space, this project is both decorative and functional.

With expert mosaic artist Barbara Henderson providing all of the materials and guidance, you'll gain hands-on experience with mosaic techniques while making a lasting piece of art. If you happen to have design ideas and inspirations, bring them! No previous experience is necessary to make your own stepping stone.   

SUPPLY INFORMATION
All materials provided for the course. Students are asked to bring eye protection and a bag lunch.

ABOUT BARBARA
Barbara Henderson is a passionate mosaicist dedicated to helping others discover their creativity through the art of mosaics. Having embraced art later in life after a career in the corporate world, she now loves guiding students as they uncover their unique artistic vision. Barbara's favorite motto is, "Perfection can be purchased at the dollar store. Art and beauty are found in the unique and flawed." She lives in Gig Harbor with her husband, along with an ever-growing collection of dogs and chickens.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will receive a 100% refund (including any materials fee).

Students who withdraw from a course at least seven days prior to its first meeting will receive a 90% refund (less any materials fee). 

Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund except in the case of illness or injury, in which case they are eligible to receive a 40% refund (less any materials fee).

Please note that 10% of every course’s registration fee is considered to be a non-refundable deposit in cases of withdrawal to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted.
