Solstice Spiral

TIME: 4:30PM – 6:30PM PST
AGE GROUP: Adult (ages 18+), youth capable of holding quiet reverence are welcome
LOCATION: Building 324, Fort Worden, Port Townsend. 

We will be accompanied by a live Harpist for our spiral. 

DESCRIPTION
Join us on the winter solstice for an indoor solstice spiral. This is a quiet, introspective, and peaceful ritual. We will honor the turning of the season by gathering in a dark room illuminated by one candle. One by one we will walk the spiral, each lighting another candle, to symbolize a journey into the dark and the return of light. The room will grow brighter with each candle lit as we observe the seasonal cycle and connect with nature and ourselves. We will be accompanied by gentle music.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will be notified and receive a 100% refund.

Students withdrawing from a course at least seven days prior to the first day of class will receive a 90% refund.

Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund—except for illness or injury, in which case students are eligible to receive a 40% refund.

Please note that 10% of every course’s registration fee is considered a non-refundable deposit to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted.
