DESCRIPTION
In one-on-one mentorship sessions, artist Lauren Altman (aka the Tie-Dye Queen) will help you unleash your creativity, work through your creative blocks, and build confidence in your unique voice and skillset. From personal growth to career development, these one hour sessions can support you wherever you are in your journey. Each session will help you refine your creative voice and tap into your unique skill sets with more regularity and ease. The goal is to uncover and integrate these creative aspects of you into your daily life so that you can show up as your true self in the world. You will discover new techniques to help you tend to your mental health and well-being and embrace the qualities of your unique expression and voice so you can take the next steps on your life path with intention.

Lauren Altman a.k.a. the Tie-Dye Queen, is a multimedia artist based in NYC offering a playful, unconventional approach to inner-work and well-being through immersive workshops, installations, wearable art, and mixed-media painting. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design, Master of Arts in Contemporary Art History from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Studio Art from the University of Pennsylvania – the focus of Lauren’s practice is exploring art as a tool for processing emotions. 

She has been featured in Create! Magazine, Time Out NY, What's Your Grief, and Peninsula Daily News highlighted Lauren as a guide to "Being One's Own Art Therapist."
