DESCRIPTION
Explore quilting intuitively without using rulers, templates, pins or a plan! This is an improvisational quilting class, a collage with fabric experience. We will be making one to two large squares with “bird" ideas: NOT representational, just the spirit of birds. No experience is needed. We will applique our designs either by hand or machine, no raw edge fusing, just playing with color, pattern, and composition.

ABOUT ROBIN
Robin O'Neil is a retired special education teacher who began quilting in 1973. She has been teaching quilt workshops in fabric stores and guilds and offering private lessons in her studio for the past 15 years. Her guiding principle for everything she makes or teaches is to be “wide open.” The best ideas flood in when she opens her mind, her heart, her imagination, and her spirit. Life is too short to fret!
