Turn yourself loose to have fun with the possibilities in collage work! Anne guides your compositions in abstract collage – creating many abstract works to experience what is possible – without judging them as finished pieces. Additions of mark making will enhance the collages and help create a series of smaller works. This is a good workshop for those who have participated in other collage/mixed media classes and to use papers from the library of papers you may have created. This work will be done on heavy watercolor paper as substrate which will be provided by the teacher. Open to all levels.
- Collage papers: bring your own collection of hand painted papers, maps, text pages, musical scores, calendar pictures, pages of color and patterns, parts of sewing patterns, and painted papers. Additional papers also available at Northwind Art School.
- Acrylic matte medium .
- Palette knife for matte medium .
- Scissors, ruler, paper towels, marking pens.
After registration, course details are available via the Northwind Art School learning portal, including course syllabus and supply information. Learn more
