DESCRIPTION
Are you inspired by costumes worn by knights, samurai or Wonder Woman? In this Art Camp, you’ll make a well-constructed, cardboard armor wearable art piece with faux metal finish. Explore images of traditional armor and modern superhero movies, discover practical aspects of construction for freedom of movement and decorative elements that enhance the piece. The project includes idea sketching, stitching with a leather sewing awl, gluing, using brass fasteners, applying paint to imitate the metal effect.
