Gather at the shire and join this Lord of the Rings-inspired children's program at Fort Worden! Through games, storytelling, and hands-on fiber arts activities, kids will experience the exciting world of hobbits, elves, dwarves, and wizards. Belladonna Took will teach you how to make a leaf cloak clasp, a woven hobbit door wreath, dragon eyes, and a plushie Gollum. We will listen to The Hobbit while crafting. Every day we will go on outdoor adventures and play themed games. Whether you’ve read The Hobbit or not, these projects will be fun and magical for all! Ages 7+
