DESCRIPTION
Understanding color mixing and theory can be challenging, but with proper instruction and practice it can be very rewarding. Over time, as you grow more familiar with whatever medium you’re using, your skills will become natural and intuitive.
In this four-hour workshop, students will use paint to learn the basics of mixing colors.
We will also cover the use of various color schemes, such as monochromatic, complementary, analogous, and triadic, to create different effects in art. Step-by-step instruction will introduce you to essential information about the color wheel and how to use it in your art.
All skill levels are welcome, whether you need some very beginning level "how to" instruction or just a refresher to help you get the color results you’ve been struggling with.
