This course will cover the basics of block printing including carving, making an image into a block, transferring images, and printing on fabric. The theme for this course will be flowers, so come ready with fun floral-related ideas! Lydia will assist students with practicing carving with some basic designs, then move into printing practice. Students will then design and carve more intricate blocks to be printed on a bandana. Students will come away with two printed bandannas and carved blocks to make more.
