DESCRIPTION
How do you arrange things in their best places for a good painting or drawing? Experienced book illustrator Jesse Joshua Watson teaches you the art of using thumbnails to explore the best possible composition. Build on your skills as an artist by learning how to adjust elements to create the most dynamic and effective work of art through experimentation, principles of composition, and intuitive reasoning. In this series, you'll explore these methods through sketching, drawing and painting exercises.

ABOUT JESSE
Jesse Joshua Watson’s appreciation of people is voiced through his brush. He has illustrated many books, including NY Times bestselling Hank Zipzer series by Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver. Jesse's art has shown in galleries, nightclubs, libraries, a museum, and on his parents' fridge. He was awarded Grand Prize in 2005 and finalist in 2006 at International Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators NY Showcase.
