DESCRIPTION Get immersed in the magic of sea and shore in this nature art camp! In the mornings, students experience the outdoors, museum and aquarium exhibits guided by Port Townsend Marine Science Center educators. And in the afternoon, artist Mikal Robinson leads crafts, stories and games to play as we learn more about the ocean and all its delightful creatures. Crafts may include sewn starfishes, needle felted orca whales, and finger crochet octopi! Ages 7-9.

ABOUT MIKAL Fiber artist Mikal Robinson has studied weaving with plants, animal fibers, felting, and spinning. They have over 25 years of experience working with children, teaching art in public and private schools and running kids camps as Wild Child Arts. They have been teaching community art classes to adults and families for 14 years.
