Make your own hand bound sketchbook to inspire your exploration, techniques, archives and memories! In this workshop, Kim Kopp guides you in artisan binding methods to build a sketchbook just the way you’d like it! Each participant will create a hardbound sketchbook while developing basic hand bookbinding knowledge and skills. Quality materials and tools are supplied for one 9-inch x 11-inch artist grade sketchbook.
$40 supply fee (cash or check) payable to instructor on the first day of class covers all materials.

Based in Port Townsend, Kim received a fellowship at Jentel artist residency program, Wyoming, in 2013. In 2005, Kopp was an EDGE Professional Development participant and in 2002 was awarded a GAP from Artist Trust, and a residency at Centrum in Port Townsend, WA. Kim graduated from University of Chicago, MFA, and School of the Art Institute of Chicago, BFA.
