DESCRIPTION
Learn the technique of ink resist, an unpredictable wash method that is fun to experiment with! Using gouache, watercolor, India ink and various other media, Nonie will guide you through the steps to create a surprising, interesting artwork that resembles an aged wood block or monoprint. You’ll choose subject matter from a variety of images depicting colorful florals, fish, birds, insects, and other aspects of the natural world. All skill levels welcome!

 SUPPLY INFORMATION

• All materials are provided as part of the registration fee.
• Recommended that students wear appropriate clothing for handling indelible India ink.

ABOUT NONIE
Nonie Gaines holds a BFA and is a Certified Art Instructor, award-winning art teacher, and artist. She won 2014 Honorable Mention and 2015 Best in Show in the P.T. Wearable Art Show and exhibits at Northwind Art Grover Gallery. Her deep experience working with all ages and abilities makes learning art exciting and fun.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cannot attend a course for any reason, we can offer you a refund as follows:

• If you cancel more than 2 weeks before the course start date, you will receive a full refund.
• If you cancel less than 2 weeks before course start date, you will receive a 50% refund.
• If you cancel one week or less before the course start date, there will be no refund.
