DESCRIPTION
Silk painting using water based resists is like creating stained glass, but on fabric. Using a square piece of silk crepe de chine, artist Evette Allerdings will teach you multiple techniques to create a one of a kind piece to wear or display. You will have time to make two pieces; a silk crepe de chine and a silk habotai.

ABOUT EVETTE ALLERDINGS
Evette was born, raised, and lived in Hawaii for the majority of her life. She moved to Washington in mid 2018. She has a degree in Fashion Design and is a multi award winning costumer at her local Community College. Always searching for the perfect fabric for a costume, she ventured into painting on silk in 2015 and found a new passion.
