DESCRIPTION
Join teaching artist Judy Paolini for a one-day workshop exploring the process of printing on fabric using a variety of handmade and found object stamps. In this course you will learn what makes a good stamp, how to create successful hand printed patterns, when to use a repeat pattern and when to disrupt it, all using specialized inks on natural fabrics to make one-of-a-kind tea towels. You will walk away with the skills to create beautiful printed gifts and art.
SUPPLY INFORMATION
All course materials and supplies are provided with the materials fee. Feel free to bring random objects that have at least one flat side with a texture or pattern you like.

ABOUT JUDY
Judy Paolini is an award-winning graphic and product designer. She has partnered with national and international clients on branding, marketing, and product development initiatives. In addition to brand, packaging, retail and product design, her textile design is sold through Spoonflower and Society6. She has taught graphic and textile design classes to students of all ages.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If Northwind Art has to cancel a course for any reason, all enrolled students will receive a 100% refund (including any materials fee).
Students who withdraw from a course at least seven days prior to its first meeting will receive a 90% refund (less any materials fee).
Students withdrawing fewer than seven days from the first day of class are not eligible for a refund except in the case of illness or injury, in which case they are eligible to receive a 40% refund (less any materials fee).
Please note that 10% of every course’s registration fee is considered to be a non-refundable deposit in cases of withdrawal to cover administrative overhead. All refunds will be applied to the same credit card that was used for enrollment. No credits or transfers will be granted.
