Join Erika Wurm in an introduction to basic embroidery stitches. This workshop designed for the very beginner is a great activity to do with your child or grandchild! During the class you will learn how to use embroidery to enhance a design and make certain aspects pop! The techniques learned in this class can be used to embellish clothing, throw pillows, or fabric! You will walk away with a fun 4" embroidery hoop with their embroidered work, an embroidery needle, and a simple booklet illustrating the stitches you learned: everything you need to unleash embroidery on every piece of clothing that crosses your path!
- All course materials and supplies (including a 4" embroidery hoop, embroidery needle, embroidery floss, and an instructional stitch booklet) are provided as part of the registration fee.
- Students should bring apiece of fabric which they would like to embellish! Small practice scraps will also be provided.

Wurm Wares by Erika Wurm was started in 2015 as a space where she could let her inner child create while celebrating her perfectly silly last name. She's an eco conscious mixed media artist that repurposes materials to challenge herself but also reduce waste in her studio. Inspired by her time as a Horticulturist her work reflects her love of nature with a touch of whimsy.
