AGE GROUP: Adult (ages 18+), Youth (ages 15-17)
LOCATION: Building 306, Fort Worden, Port Townsend. (COVID protocol will be observed, read our policies here)

DESCRIPTION
Experience realistic drawing as an essential foundation of your art! In this workshop, you will learn an eight-step process for drawing three-dimensional subjects with an emphasis on form, depth, value and texture, using a variety of techniques and materials. You will also learn basic composition, linear perspective, and observational drawing. The techniques you gain will build your confidence and skills – and give you a solid visual language to express your personal artistic vision.

 SUPPLY INFORMATION

• Sketch pad – preferably 11" x 14" or larger, 70-80#, bright white paper
• Pencils – drawing set or one each of HB/#2, 4H, 4B and Ebony
• Stump – about ½”, solid rolled paper stick (for blending)

Nonie holds a BFA and is a Certified Art Instructor, award-winning art teacher, and artist. She won 2014 Honorable Mention and 2015 Best in Show in the PT Wearable Art Show and exhibits at Northwind Art Grover Gallery.
