Mask making. What do we show? What do we see?
This experiential, two-day retreat is led by mixed-media artist Lauren Altman for purposes of exploration, play, and insight. Let’s take a pause from the rat race in this low-stakes experience and explore the question: who are we beneath the mask? Whether you want to perfect the mask, or unmask the mask, come and connect with new friends who are also embracing their multilayeredness.
Take your seat at the creative altar and explore painting with the elements: velvety charcoal, mossy spirulina, golden turmeric, and other transcendent botanicals. Come as you are, have fun, and celebrate all parts of you—inside and out. Materials are provided for you.
