DESCRIPTION
This class is about approaching creative practice as a process of self-inquiry: a vehicle for personal growth, transformation, and self-discovery. Over four weeks, you will experience the power of mixed-media art as a tool for self-care, mindfulness, and authenticity. We will make paper from our journal entries and daily compost, make a creative altar and designated space for the ritual of self-care and self-inquiry, intuitive mixed-media painting, book making, and more. This course is part 2 of Lauren’s Coping Creatively class suite, though you do not need to have taken the prerequisite class. No artistic experience required, though professional artists and folks of all artistic levels are all welcome.
