DESCRIPTION
Drawing beautiful, inventive images from your imagination is not magic or inordinate talent. How do you acquire this capability? Carl Jackson guides you through “Mental Constructs” and “Close Scrutiny” for studying, carefully drawing copies, learning conventions and subtleties of marks to set you on the path to creating your own imagined pictures. Students of any skill level are welcome in this workshop exploring the development of better memories and expanding your imaginative range.

ABOUT CARL
Carl Jackson has been an illustrator, arts administrator, gallery director, and fine artist with work in public and private collections. He attended Rhode Island School of Design and was an instructor and co-chair of the Foundation Department at New England School of Art and Design in Boston. He teaches Computer Graphics and Drawing at the Art Institute of Seattle.
