Colorful artist Suzanne Lamon introduces you to the joy of painting with watercolors. This class is for anyone wanting to learn watercolor techniques, or for those who have experience, but would like to sharpen their skills. Class direction focuses first on brush skills, and then leads into paper and paint fundamentals. You will work with both dry and wet applications, and you’ll learn how to add colors without losing a picture by turning it to mud! You will be amazed by what you can do!

ABOUT SUZANNE: Suzanne Lamon is a Port Townsend artist, known for her brilliant narrative watercolor work. She was a graduate student at Washington State University in the 1970’s, studying with legendary teacher and artist Gaylen Hansen. She was a founding faculty of Port Townsend School of the Arts, and has exhibited extensively in the Pacific Northwest.
