Colorful artist Suzanne Lamon introduces you to the joy of painting with watercolors. This class is for anyone wanting to learn watercolor techniques, or for those who have experience, but would like to sharpen their skills. Class direction focuses first on brush skills, and then leads into paper and paint fundamentals. You will work with both dry and wet applications, and you’ll learn how to add colors without losing a picture by turning it to mud! You will be amazed by what you can do!

  • The most important thing to begin with is a good brush. Bring a #6 or #8 or #10 round, sable watercolor brush.
  • An inexpensive watercolor paper pad, medium size, 12” x 14" or similar
  • I like tube watercolors, but if you have watercolor cakes or a little tin of colors, you can get started with that
  • This can be a plate, something you buy, or you can use Northwind Art School’s palettes during class.

Full supply details will be provided upon registration.
